Welcome to App State, Mountaineers! 🎉 Whether you're new to Boone or just new to campus life, we’re so excited to have you here. One of the best ways to find your people, try new things, and make App feel like home is by getting involved with University Recreation (UREC)!
There’s something for everyone at UREC, and it’s all designed to fit your vibe and schedule. Want to dive in right away? Check out our Aquatics programs! From open and lap swim to paddleboard dodgeball and aquatic-themed fun nights, our Olympic-sized pool is the place to be when you need to cool off or switch things up.🌊
Into Fitness? Not only do we have 3 facilities on campus with cardio and weightlifting equipment, but we also have group fitness classes happening daily: HIIT, yoga, cycling, BODYCOMBAT, and so much more. No pre-registration, no pressure; just great music and great energy. Want a custom fitness plan and someone to hype you up along the way?💪UREC’s certified Personal Trainers are here to help you crush your goals whether you're just getting started or leveling up your routine.🏋️♂️🔥
If the Outdoors is calling, the Outing Center has your back. You can rent gear for your own adventures or join one of our guided trips—hiking, whitewater rafting, climbing, paddling, and beyond. We also have a climbing wall, bike shop, and training programs if you want to take your skills to the next level.🧗♀️🏕️
Looking to compete in Sports or just play for fun? Get in on the action with intramural sports. We’ve got leagues, tournaments, and one-day events. Or, if you’re more serious about your sport, check out one of our many Club Sports, like ultimate frisbee, rugby, or soccer.🏀🏒
